Give It A Shot – 2010 Alamos Torrontes
I know this is not the consensus of most people who live in Arizona, but it is getting too warm too early. Temperatures are already in the mid 80s and it feels like fall just ended. Yes I said fall. We don't have winter. What we do have with these increasing temperatures is an excuse to find a white wine that will work well with these warmer days. The 2010 Alamos Torrontes is our first attempt through video this year to find that wine. Purchased at Trader Joe's, but not exclusive to them, this grape variety hails from Argentina and like most grapes has the capability for high quality in the right hands. We shall find out. Enjoy!
