AboutBeverages.com Podcast: Episode 23 – Single Malt Scotch Part 1
Welcome to episode 23 of the AboutBeverages.com podcast! In this epsiode we will be talking about, and enjoying, some single malt scotch. Ten scotches to be exact. We are going to divide this podcast into two parts and try five scotches in each part. In part one, we will begin by discussing what makes scotch unique and different from other types of whiskey. Then it’s off to the tasting room to begin tasting the first five single malt scotches. Next week in part two of the podcast, we will try the remaining five single malt scotches along with some final discussion about our favorites. This two part podcast series would not have been possible without the help of a friend and contributor to the show, Fitz. Keith and Fitz both work for Trader Joe’s and they have had numerous discussions About Beverages, one of which obviously involved scotch. Fitz has a great deal of passion not only for a wide variety of beverages, but for food as well. He has a highly developed sense of taste, a vast internal database of prior experience from which to draw, and a keen knack for pairing libations of all kinds with a wide array of foods. We were happy to welcome him to the tasting room for all of these reasons and, in all honesty, because he graciously offered to provide us with all of the scotches that we tried. Without further adieu, let’s taste some scotch!

As I did with Part 2, I'll waste my time critiquing the scotch name pronunciations, rather than waxing about how the episode was. The only nitpick is this one: Your guest Fitz said "Card-hoo", but it's "Car-doo".
Carry on!
