AboutBeverages.com Podcast: Episode 21 – Three Arizona Wines
Welcome to episode 21 of the AboutBeverages.com Podcast! With the holiday season in full swing we thought it appropriate to do a wine podcast. To narrow the field a bit we decided to look within our own home state and choose only wines made right here in Arizona. In our knowledge segment we will discuss some of the varieties of grapes that work well in this climate and just how many wineries there are in Arizona. After this discussion we head off to the tasting room to try three wines. The wines we will be tasting are the 2007 Sangiovese from Sonoita Vineyards, the 2007 Dos Cabezas Wineworks Red, and the 2007 Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards Three Sisters Syrah. The fact that all of these wines are 2007 vintages is a complete coincidence.

Great podcast! It is cool to know that there are some really great wines being grown and produced right here in Arizona. So many more to try. Also, great "Sideways" sound byte-always good to hear Myles on his anti-Merlot rant.
