50 Best Beers in America
For the last nine years the American Homebrewers Association has created a ranking of the top 50 commercially available beers as voted on by their readers. The current list is out and available at their website. As I scanned the list a few things jumped out at me. The list contains many beers that we have either reviewed on a podcast or are available in the Drink Database. What does that mean? It means we have the pulse of the beer drinking community. OK, it may just be a coincidence. I was also surprised by the fact that Rogue Brewing only showed up once on the list with their Dead Guy Ale. By far the most popular breweries were Dogfish, Sierra Nevada, and Stone Brewing. Head on over to the website to see the full story along with some other rankings.
